【摘要】:1.1Thisisanacceptancespecificationforthemagneticparticleinspectionofforgedsteelcrankshaftshavingmainbearingjournalsorcrankpins4in.[200mm]orlargerindiameter.1.2Therearethreeclasses,withacceptancestandardsofincreasingseverity:1.2.1Class1.1.2.2Class2(originallythesoleacceptancestandardofthisspecification).1.2.3Class3(formerlycoveredinSupplementaryRequirementS1ofSpecificationA456x2013;64(1970)).1.3Thisspecificationisnotintendedtocovercontinuousgrainflowcrankshafts(seeSpecificationA983/A983M);however,SpecificationA986/A986Mmaybeusedforthispurpose.Note18212;SpecificationA668/A668Misaproductspecificationwhichmaybeusedforslab-forgedcrankshaftforgingsthatareusuallytwistedinordertosetthecrankpinangles,orforbarrelforgedcrankshaftswherethecrankpinsaremachinedintheappropriateconfigurationfromacylindricalforging.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtotheinchunits.
