【摘要】:Foradequateserviceperformance,rubberthreadsmustbetestedbyappropriatetestmethods.Thisstandardgivesanumberoftestmethodsthatareknowntobeimportantinrubberthreadtechnology.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofbothroundextrudedlatexandrectangularcutrubberthreadproductsinwhichthebasematerialusedinmanufacturemaybenaturalrubberorsyntheticrubber,aloneorincombination.Thesetestsaretobemadeonlyonthebareuncoveredrubberthread.1.2Owingtothecomparativelysmallcrosssectionofthematerialandalsobecauseoftheunusualconditionsofserviceofthismaterial,certainspecialtestmethodshavebeendevelopedandtaketheplaceofthetestsforotherrubberproducts.1.3Comparisonsmayonlybemadeonnewrubberthreadsorthoseofidenticalprocessinghistories.Intheinterpretationofresultsfromthreadswhichhavebeensubjectedtospooling,fabrication,orotherprocess,theprevioushistoryisimportant,andwhatisknownofthisandanyrelaxationtreatmentsusedshouldbestated.1.4Thetestmethodsappearinthefollowingsections:1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Theabilityofafueltodissipatechargethathasbeengeneratedduringpumpingandfilteringoperationsiscontrolledbyitselectricalconductivity,whichdependsuponitscontentofionspecies.Iftheconductivityissufficientlyhigh,chargesdissipatefastenoughtopreventtheiraccumulationanddangerouslyhighpotentialsinareceivingtankareavoided.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheelectricalconductivityofaviationanddistillatefuelswithandwithoutastaticdissipatoradditive.Thetestmethodsnormallygiveameasurementoftheconductivitywhenthefuelisuncharged,thatis,electricallyatrest(knownastherestconductivity).1.2Twotestmethodsareavailableforfieldtestsoffuelconductivity.Theseare:(1)portablemetersforthedirectmeasurementintanksorthefieldorlaboratorymeasurementoffuelsamples,and(2)in-linemetersforthecontinuousmeasurementoffuelconductivitiesinafueldistributionsystem.Inusingportablemeters,caremustbetakeninallowingtherelaxationofresidualelectricalchargesbeforemeasurementandinpreventingfuelcontamination.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,see7.1,7.1.1,and11.2.1.
